To start the vehicle, the charging cable must be disconnected.

Tips:

  • The charger operates on a 230 V / 50 Hz supply.
  • Under certain conditions (battery temperature too high, etc.) charging cannot start.
The traction system temperature warning light comes on (refer to the "Instrument panel" section in chapter 2).
  • The charging cable must always be kept on board the vehicle.
  • Keep the charging cable clean and make sure the cable and plugs used are in good condition.
  • Your installation must have an earth connection and be capable of supplying 16 A continuously. However, the vehicle can be charged at 10 A provided the 10 A charge selector fuse is present in the fuse box.

To preserve your batteries:

  • When the vehicle is connected, the fans start automatically. Make sure not to obstruct them.
  • To charge the vehicle, only use a supply network that complies with the applicable domestic standard.
  • A full discharge of the batteries, followed by a complete charge, must be carried out at least once a week.

If, after a full charge, the charge level indicator does not reach maximum, fully discharge the batteries (end-of-range warning light on: see the "instrument panel" section in chapter 4), then fully recharge them.
