REMOVAL

Pare brise

Remove the wiper arms.

To avoid damaging the splines and to make removal of the wiper arms easier, it is necessary to use tool Elé. 1294-01.

Protect the bodywork around the edge of the windscreen using masking tape.

INSTALLATION

Clean the splines of the spindles using a wire brush.

Refit the arms and nuts.

Tighten to a torque of 18 N.m.

Pare brise

Unclip the side cover (1).

Remove the seal (2) and the screw (3).

Release the cowl grille.

Disconnect the washer fluid hose

Pare brise

Remove:

  • the lower trim moulding (4),

  • the positioning wedges (5),

  • the inner seal (reusable),

  • the outer trim moulding (not reusable) for traditional "wire" cutting.

It is not necessary to remove the outer trim moulding with the "EASY CUT" cutting tool, see Technical Note 414A.

INSTALLATION

Fit the outer trim moulding before bonding the windscreen.

For preparation and bonding, refer to Technical Note 371A.

Do not forget to attach the adhesive labels if the vehicle is fitted with airbags.
