Tightening torques
flexible mounting bolts 12.5 daN.m

Never support the rear axle with a lifting device.

  • Position the vehicle on a two-post lift.
Note:
  • During this operation, secure the vehicle to the lift using the safety straps tool to prevent imbalance.
  • For the procedure for fitting the safety straps tool, see Chapter Lifting Equipment.

This operation is carried out with the lower shock absorber mountings removed.

  • Fit the pedal depressor tool.
Articulation élastique
  • Using the component jack tool, position the vehicle to obtain a shock absorber mounting point centre distance (body mounting (1), axle mounting (2)) of 402 mm.
  • Tighten the flexible mounting bolts to torque (12.5 daN.m).
