Multiplexed network configuration
If the topology (network architecture) stored in the passenger compartment central unit and the airbag ECU is incorrect, the result of the multiplexed network can be checked with the diagnostic tool.
For the diagnostic tool to check the multiplexed network, the "multiplexed network" topology configuration and the "diagnosable ECU" configurations must be identical in both ECUs (passenger compartment central unit and airbag ECU).
If the passenger compartment central unit or the airbag ECU is blank after replacement, this topology must be entered before continuing a multiplexed network check.
PROCEDURE
It is recommended to configure the topology with the ignition on (+APC) supply present.
Select the "Multiplexed network" tab to correctly enter the network version and the list of ECUs connected to the multiplexed network.
Enter the "multiplexed network version" value in the new ECU. This value is identical to that of the ECU not replaced (if there is a problem, contact "techline").
Correct the topology by declaring the ECU(s) as "present" or "absent" in the passenger compartment central unit and the airbag ECU (the topology must be identical in both ECUs).
WARNINGThe new configurations learned in the passenger compartment central unit must be validated before changing those of the airbag ECU, or vice versa.
