Vanity mirrors may be fitted with a light integrated into the headliner trim.

The switch is located on the cover (1) of the sun visor mirror (2). Current is supplied to the light (3) through the central sun visor mount (4).

Note: The switch operation can be checked by connecting a multimeter to (5):
  • mirror cover closed (switch open) = light off = infinite resistance,
  • mirror cover open (switch closed) = light on = zero resistance.
