I - FEATURES

Vehicles may be fitted with:

  • independent door sill lights (lit when the corresponding door or underfloor storage compartment is opened),
  • timed overhead lights (front and rear),
  • rear cargo area lights,
  • vanity mirror lights above each sun visor.

II - TIMER OPERATION

The interior lights are switched on immediately by the passenger compartment central unit:

  • when a door or the rear tailgate is opened,
  • when the openings are unlocked using the remote control (or for the hands-free function).

To switch off the interior lights, the passenger compartment central unit applies, depending on the case, a delay:

  • switch-off without delay: when the openings are locked using the remote control (openings closed),
  • delayed switch-off:
  • after the last opening is closed,
  • when the openings are unlocked using the remote control,
  • when the ignition is switched on ("progressive").
Note: The passenger compartment central unit switches off the interior lights after a delay of approximately 20 minutes.
