IMPORTANT

During this operation, it is essential to:

  • do not smoke or bring any hot object near the work area,
  • protect yourself from fuel spray caused by residual pressure in the lines,
  • protect areas sensitive to fuel flow.

REMOVAL

  • Drain the fuel tank (see Fuel Tank chapter, Fuel Tank Draining, page 19C-1).
  • Position the vehicle on a two-post lift.
  • Disconnect the battery.
  • Remove:
  • the right rear wheel,
  • the right rear mudguard.

  • Disconnect the anti-return hose (1).
  • Remove the clamp from the filler hose (2).

  • Remove the mounting bolts (3) of the filler neck.

  • Remove:
  • the mounting bolts (4) of the filler neck,
  • the filler neck.

INSTALLATION

  • Always replace the clamps with new ones.
  • Refit in the reverse order of removal.
WARNING

Connect the battery; carry out the necessary re-learns (see Electrical Equipment chapter).
