I - SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS REMINDER

- When removing heavy vehicle components, preferably use a four-post lift.
- On a two-post lift, after removing this type of component (for example: powertrain, rear axle, fuel tank, etc.), there is a risk of the vehicle tipping.
- When the vehicle is lifted on a two-post lift with underbody arms, fit safety straps REFERENCE 77 11 172 554, available from the spare parts store.
II - FITTING THE STRAPS
Example of securing the vehicle at the front

- For safety reasons, the straps must always be in perfect condition; replace them if damaged.
- When fitting the straps, check that the protections (seats and fragile parts) are correctly positioned.
- Place the straps under the lift arms and pass them across the vehicle and back.
- Do not overtighten the straps.
