The mirror may be fitted with a system that changes the tint according to brightness (electrochromic).

This system works by comparing brightness between two sensors:

  • a sensor (1) located on the windscreen side,
  • a sensor (2) located on the mirror side.

WIRING

Note: The electrochromic system can be checked by covering the sensor (1) (+ with ignition on). The mirror glass should gradually darken.
