Adjustment procedure

Manually adjustable type

Adjust the mirror up, down, inward or outward using the lever.

Power adjustable type

1. To select the mirror to be adjusted, press the switch.

2. To adjust the mirror, press the switch.

Folding the Outside Rear View Mirrors

Push the mirror rearward, toward the rear of the vehicle.

■ The mirror angle can be adjusted when (power adjustable type)

Vehicles without smart entry and start system The key in the ignition switch is in the "ACC" or "ON" position.

Vehicles with smart entry and start system The engine switch is in ACCESSORY mode or IGNITION ON mode.

■ When the mirrors are fogged (power adjustable type) The outside rear view mirrors can be defogged using the mirror defoggers. To activate the outside rear view mirror defoggers, turn on the rear window defogger.

■ Important points when driving Observe the following precautions while driving.

If these precautions are not observed, the driver may lose control of the vehicle and cause an accident, resulting in serious or fatal injury.

• Do not adjust the mirrors while driving.
• Do not drive with the mirrors folded.
• The driver and passenger side mirrors must be extended and properly adjusted before driving.

■ When a mirror is moving To avoid personal injury and mirror malfunction, do not touch the mirror while it is moving.

■ When the mirror defoggers are operating (power adjustable type) Do not touch the surfaces of the outside rear view mirrors, as they may reach extremely high temperatures and cause burns.
