1. REMOVE OUTSIDE MOULDING

REMOVE OUTSIDE MOULDING
  1. Put protective tape around the outside moulding.
  2. Using a heat light, heat the moulding between 40 to 60 C (104 to 140 F).

    NOTICE: Do not heat the moulding excessively.

  3. Tie both piano wire ends to a wooden block or a similar object.
  4. Cut off the tape by pulling the piano wire and remove the outside moulding with reference pins remaining on the moulding.

NOTICE:

  • If reusing the outside moulding, take care not to damage the outside moulding.
  • Do not damage the body.
  • Be careful of the reference pins on the outside moulding when removing the outside moulding.
