1. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL LOWER CENTER FINISH PANEL

2. REMOVE PATTERN SELECT SWITCH ASSEMBLY

(a) Detach the 2 claws to remove the pattern select switch assembly from the instrument panel lower center finish panel.

1. INSPECT PATTERN SELECT SWITCH ASSEMBLY

(a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below. Text in Illustration *a Component without harness connected (Pattern Select Switch Assembly) Standard Resistance: Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition 4 (B) - 1 (E) Pattern select switch pushed Below 1 Ω Pattern select switch not pushed 10 kΩ or higher If the result is not as specified, replace the pattern select switch assembly.

1. INSTALL PATTERN SELECT SWITCH ASSEMBLY

(a) Attach the 2 claws to install the pattern select switch assembly to the instrument panel lower center finish panel.
