2. PRECAUTIONS WHEN WORKING ON STEERING LOCK SYSTEM

(a) After replacing the steering lock ECU (steering lock actuator assembly), perform the key ID code registration.

(b) After replacing the steering lock ECU (steering lock actuator assembly), confirm the lock/unlock operation of the steering lock.

With the ignition switch off, open and close any door.

Unlock

Turn the ignition switch from off to ON or ACC.
