Removing and installing striker pin

Removing

  • Remove trim for rear lid lock → General body repairs, interior; Rep. gr.70.
  • Unscrew hexagon nuts -2- and remove striker pin -1- from lock carrier.

Installing

  • Mount striker pin -1- with hexagon nuts -2- onto lock carrier.
  • Adjusting striker pin → Chapter.

Specified torques

Hexagon nut → Chapter „Assembly overview - rear lid“
