Fuel filler flap

To open the flap, press on the front edge of its cover.

If there is a fault in the electrical system, the fuel filler flap can be unlocked manually:

1. Open the luggage compartment door on the right side. To do this, lift the handle on the door.
2. Pull the button with the fuel pump symbol.

Refuelling procedure

When handling fuel, observe the safety regulations applicable at filling stations.

Insert the fuel filler cap into the bracket on the flap.

When refuelling, insert the fuel nozzle into the filler neck.

Attempting to lift the nozzle during refuelling leads

► to premature shut-off of fuel flow;
► to reduced fuel vapour recovery.

The tank can be considered full when the fuel nozzle shuts off for the first time when used correctly.

Closing the filler cap: insert the cap and turn it clockwise until it clicks audibly into place.

Fuel tank capacity:

93 litres, including a reserve of 8 litres for 6-cylinder engines, 10 litres for 8-cylinder engines.

To ensure proper engine operation and prevent damage, always keep some fuel in the tank.
