Automatic recall of stored positions

You can set the conditions for automatic recall of the driver's seat, outside mirrors and steering wheel to the stored positions:

► when the vehicle is unlocked
► when the driver's door is opened

Before using this function, make sure the area behind the driver's seat is clear. Otherwise, the seat moving rearward may injure rear passengers or damage items stored there.◄

Pressing any seat adjustment or memory button immediately interrupts the current adjustment process.

Activating the automatic function

For principles of iDrive operation, refer to.

1. Open the home screen.
2. Press the controller to go to the menu.
3. Select "Settings" and press the controller.
4. Select "Vehicle / Tyres" and press the controller.
5. Move to the upper field. Turn the controller to select "Door locks" and press it.

6. Select "Central locking" and press the controller.
7. Select "Last seat pos." and press the controller.
8. Select "After unlocking" or "After door opens".

9. Press the controller.

Deactivating the automatic function

Select "Automatic off" and press the controller.
