Dynamic Traction Control (DTC)
DTC improves traction, for example when driving in deep snow. Traction gains are achieved at the expense of stability.
Therefore, be careful when the system is switched on.
Briefly switching on DTC may be useful in the following special situations:
► when driving on sand, slush or deep snow, or climbing a snow-covered slope
► when rocking the vehicle free from deep snow, sand or loose ground
► when driving with snow chains
