Automatic program

The automatic program (AUTO) adjusts the air supply and distribution to the windshield, side windows, upper body area and footwell for you, and matches the set temperature to the season.

The cooling mode is switched on automatically together with the AUTO program.

A special fog sensor ensures that moisture does not condense on the windows.

AUTO program intensity

Repeatedly pressing the AUTO button allows you to set the intensity of the automatic program. The current setting is shown on the climate control display when the button is pressed.

The AUTO program intensity can also be set via iDrive.

iDrive operating principles

1. Press the button.

The main menu opens.

2. To switch to the "Climate" menu, slide the controller to the left.
3. Select "Automatic programmes" and press the controller.

4. Select the intensity level and press the controller: "intensive" (High), "medium" (Medium), "soft" (Low).
