Residual heat utilization mode

Heat stored in the engine is used to heat the interior while the vehicle is stopped, for example, at the school where you have picked up your child.

Switching On

Residual heat mode is activated by pressing the right edge of the button if the following conditions are met:

► no more than 15 minutes have passed since the engine was switched off
► the engine has reached operating temperature
► the battery has sufficient charge
► the outside air temperature does not exceed 25 °C

When this mode is active, REST appears in the climate control display.

When the ignition is in the Radio position, you can adjust the air supply, air distribution and temperature.

Switching Off

Holding down the left edge of the button, set the minimum fan speed. Pressing the left edge of the button again switches off residual heat mode, and the REST indicator in the climate control display goes out.
