Petrol engines

Do not fill the vehicle with leaded gasoline, as it causes irreversible damage to the catalytic converter.◄

Low-sulfur gasoline may be used. Knock control allows the use of various gasoline grades.

► Your BMW engine is designed for:

super plus unleaded gasoline – RON 98.

This grade is preferred because it provides the rated engine output and fuel consumption.

► Refuelling is permitted with:

unleaded gasoline SUPER – RON 95.

This gasoline may be designated as:

DIN EN 228 or EURO SUPER.

► Minimum requirement:

regular unleaded gasoline – RON 91.
