Do not fill the vehicle with rapeseed methyl ester (RME), biodiesel fuel or gasoline. If the vehicle is accidentally filled with such fuel, do not start the engine. Risk of engine damage.◄
If the vehicle is accidentally filled with the wrong type of fuel, contact a BMW service center.
► Your BMW engine is designed for:
diesel fuel DIN EN 590.
Winter Diesel Fuel
For reliable operation of the diesel engine in cold weather, use winter diesel fuel, which is sold at filling stations during this season. The standard fuel filter heater prevents the fuel from thickening while driving.
Do not add additives or gasoline to the fuel. Risk of engine damage.◄
