System Initialization

Initialization is performed while driving. Stops are permitted during initialization. Initialization continues automatically during the next driving cycle. Do not initialize the system with snow chains fitted or with a compact spare tire installed.◄

iDrive operating principles

1. Press the button.

The main menu opens.

2. Press the controller to open the menu.
3. Select "Vehicle settings" and press the controller.
4. Select "RPA" and press the controller.

5. Start the engine, but do not drive off.
6. Select "Set tyre pressure" and press the controller.
7. Select "Yes" and press the controller.

8. Start driving.

The message "Initializing..." appears on the display.

Initialization is completed while driving. The message "Status: active" appears again on the Control Display.
