Lamps and Lights

Vehicle safety depends largely on the condition of the lighting equipment. Therefore, replace it strictly observing all rules.

Have work that is unfamiliar or not described in this Owner's Manual performed by a BMW service center.

Do not touch the glass bulbs of new lamps with bare hands, because even slight contamination burns onto the bulb surface, shortening lamp life. Use a clean cloth, paper towel or similar, or hold the lamp by its base.◄

Replacement lamp kits are available at BMW service centers.

To avoid a short circuit, switch off the device being serviced before carrying out any electrical work. When replacing lamps, strictly follow all instructions of the lamp manufacturer. This helps prevent injury and damage to the lamp.◄
