Remote control transmitter

<Sedan>

<Hatchback>
Allows operation of the following:
- Central locking
- Alarm
- Trunk lid (sedan only)
The remote control transmitter has a range of approximately 30 meters.
The range may be reduced by external factors.
Operation is confirmed by a flash of the hazard warning lights.
Handle the transmitter carefully, protect it from moisture and high temperatures, and do not use it unnecessarily.
Malfunction
If the central locking cannot be operated with the remote control transmitter, the following may be the cause:
- the transmitter is out of range,
- the transmitter battery is discharged,
- the transmitter has been used repeatedly outside the receiving range (resynchronization will then be required),
- the central locking has been overloaded by being switched on and off repeatedly in short intervals (power is then briefly disconnected),
- interference has been caused by stronger radio waves from other sources.
Replacing the remote control transmitter battery
Replace the battery with a new one as soon as the transmitter range noticeably decreases.

Do not dispose of used batteries with household waste. They must be taken to an appropriate collection point.
