The immobilizer system built into the ignition lock checks whether the engine may be started with the key being used. If the key transponder is recognized, the engine will start.

The immobilizer is automatically activated after the key is removed from the ignition lock or when the engine is stopped by pressing the Start/Stop button.

If the indicatorмигает или горит при включенном зажигании, этоflashes or stays on with the ignition on, this indicates a malfunction and the engine cannot be started. Turn off the ignition and try starting again.

If the indicator continues to flash or stay on, try starting the engine with the spare key and contact a service station.

The engine immobilizer system does not lock the doors. Therefore, always lock the vehicle and arm the anti-theft alarm when leaving the vehicle.
