To engage reverse gear with the vehicle stationary, pull the ring on the shift lever and select the gear.

If the gear does not engage, move the shift lever to neutral, release and depress the clutch pedal again, then engage the gear again.

Do not depress the clutch pedal unnecessarily.

While driving, release the clutch pedal fully. Do not use the pedal as a footrest.

It is not recommended to keep your hand on the shift lever while driving.
