It is recommended to check the engine oil level before a long trip.

The vehicle must be on level ground. The engine must be at operating temperature and switched off for at least 5 minutes before checking.

Remove the oil level dipstick, wipe it clean, insert it fully until it stops, then remove it again and read the oil level.

Insert the dipstick fully until it stops and turn it a half turn.

Different engine types are equipped with different oil dipsticks.

If the engine oil level has dropped to the MIN mark, engine oil must be added.

We recommend adding the same oil that was used at the last oil change.

The engine oil level must not be above the MAX mark on the dipstick.

Excess oil must be drained or pumped out.

Install the cap squarely and tighten it.
