Anti-lock braking system (ABS) and braking systems (REF and CSC)
The ABS system, together with the REF and CSC * braking systems, improves the stability and handling of your vehicle during braking and gives better control in bends, particularly on damaged or slippery road surfaces.
ABS prevents the wheels from locking during emergency braking.
The REF and CSC * systems provide full management of braking pressure wheel by wheel. Distribution between:
- front and rear for REF (Electronic Brake-force Distribution),
- left and right for CSC * (Cornering Stability Control).
! When changing wheels (tyres), make sure they are approved.
The anti-lock system operates automatically when there is a risk of the wheels locking.
* The CSC system is combined with REF on vehicles that do not have ASR/ESP systems.
This warning light indicates an ABS system fault, which may cause loss of vehicle control during braking.

If these warning lights come on at the same time, there is a braking system fault or the parking brake is not fully released, which may cause loss of vehicle control during braking.
Stop the vehicle immediately.
