Remote control system to prevent the rear doors from being opened using their interior controls and the use of the rear window switches.

Electric child lock

The control is located on the driver’s door, with the window switches.

Activation
  • Press button A .

The button A indicator lights up, and a message appears on the instrument cluster display.

Deactivation
  • Press button A again .

The A button indicator light goes out, accompanied by a message on the instrument panel screen.

This indicator stays off as long as the child safety lock is deactivated.

Any other indicator light status indicates a fault with the electric child safety lock. Have it checked by a Citroën dealer network.

This system is independent and in no way replaces the central locking control. Check the status of the child lock each time the ignition is switched on. Always remove the key from the ignition when leaving the vehicle, even for a short time. In the event of a severe impact, the electric child lock deactivates automatically to allow rear passengers to exit.
