  • Then re-initialise the remote control.

  • Turn the key to position 2 (Ignition).
  • At the same time, press and hold the padlock button for a few seconds.
  • Switch off the ignition and remove the key from the ignition switch.

Lost keys Contact a CITROËN dealer with the vehicle registration document, proof of identity and, if possible, the label bearing the key code. The CITROËN network will find the key code and transponder code in order to order a new key. Remote control The remote control is a very sensitive device; take care that it does not accidentally unlock the vehicle doors when carried in a pocket. Do not press the remote control button unnecessarily when out of range of the vehicle. This may cause it to lose synchronisation. In this case, the remote control must be re-initialised. No remote control works when the key is in the ignition switch, even with the ignition off, except for re-initialisation. Locking the vehicle Driving with the doors locked may hinder rescue operations inside the cabin in the event of an accident. For safety reasons, never leave children alone in the vehicle, even for a moment. Always remove the key from the ignition when leaving the vehicle. Anti-theft protection Never make any changes to the electronic immobiliser system, as this may cause it to malfunction. When buying a used vehicle Have all keys paired (electronically matched) at a CITROËN dealer to make sure that they are the only keys able to unlock and start the vehicle. Do not throw used remote control batteries away; they contain metals harmful to the environment. Take them to a special collection point for this type of waste.
