QUESTION

ANSWER

SOLUTION
Difference in sound quality between the different audio sources (radio, CD...). To optimise sound quality, the audio settings (Volume, Bass, Treble, Sound balance, Loudness) can be adjusted separately for each audio source (radio, CD...). Check that the audio settings (Volume, Bass, Treble, Sound balance, Loudness) are suited to each audio source. It is recommended to set the audio functions (Bass, Treble, Fader, Balance) to the centre position, select the "Linear" sound setting, set Loudness to "Active" in CD mode, and to "Inactive" in radio mode.
Stored stations do not work (no sound, 87.5 MHz is displayed). The selected waveband is incorrect. Press the BAND AST button to find the waveband (AM, FM1, FM2, FMAST) on which the stations are stored.
Traffic information (TA) is displayed.

I do not receive any traffic information.

The radio station does not belong to the regional traffic information network. Select a radio station that broadcasts traffic information.
The reception quality of the radio station being listened to deteriorates, or the stored radio stations do not work (no sound, 87.5 MHz is displayed). The vehicle is far from the transmitter of the station being listened to, or there is no transmitter in the region being travelled through. Switch on the RDS function to allow the system to check whether a stronger transmitter is available in the region being travelled through.
The natural environment (hills, buildings, tunnels, underground car parks...) may prevent reception, including in RDS mode. This is a normal phenomenon and does not indicate a fault in the audio system.
The antenna is missing or damaged (e.g. after an automatic car wash or in an underground car park). Have the antenna checked at a CITROËN dealership.
Sound interruptions lasting 1-2 seconds in radio mode. The RDS system is searching for a frequency that allows better reception of the station. Switch off the RDS function if the phenomenon is too frequent and always occurs on the same route.
