Maintaining upholstery
A well-maintained vehicle lasts longer. For this reason, regular cleaning of the vehicle interior is recommended.
Always remove stains quickly.
To remove all types of stains, use soapy water (lukewarm if necessary) containing natural soap.
Do not use detergents (dishwashing liquids, powder products, products containing alcohol).
Use a soft cloth.
Rinse and dry.
Instrument panel lenses (e.g. instrument cluster, clock, outside temperature display, radio display...)
Use a soft cloth or cotton wool.
For heavier soiling, use a cloth lightly dampened with soapy water, then wipe with a damp cloth.
After washing, gently wipe the lens with a dry, soft cloth.
Do not use products containing alcohol.
Seat Belts
Try to keep them clean.
For their care, use products recommended by our technical services (brand shops), or use lukewarm soapy water and a sponge, then wipe with a dry cloth.
Do not use detergents or bleaches.
Materials (seats, door trim...)
Refresh materials regularly.
Liquid stain
Use soapy water.
Gently blot or lightly dry with a soft cloth (never rub), rinse, and remove the excess.
Solid or paste stain
Immediately and carefully remove the excess solid or paste with a spatula (from the edges towards the centre, to prevent the stain from spreading).
Clean as described for a liquid stain.
Special case of sweets and chewing gum
Place an ice cube on the stain to harden it, then proceed as described for a solid stain.
For advice on interior care and/or an unsatisfactory result, contact an Authorised Brand Partner as soon as possible.Removing/refitting removable original vehicle equipment
If it is necessary to remove equipment items to clean the cabin (e.g. floor mats), refit them afterwards correctly and in the correct position (the driver's mat must be placed on the driver's side) and secure them with the fixings supplied with the equipment (e.g. the driver's mat must always be secured with the fitted clips).
Whenever the vehicle is not moving, check that nothing could obstruct driving (obstruction of the pedals, a floor mat jamming the heel...).
What to avoid
We strongly advise against placing objects such as deodorant, perfume, etc. near the air vents, as they could damage the dashboard covering.
We strongly advise against using high-pressure cleaners or sprayers inside the cabin: without proper precautions, this could interfere, among other things, with the correct operation of electrical or electronic components fitted to the vehicle.Test yourself
