Remove or disconnect:

PROCEDURE.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Disconnect the high-voltage leads and the ignition coil lead from the distributor

cap..

3. Terminals of the ignition coil and electronic spark advance controller leads.

4. Distributor clamp bolt..

5. Distributor shaft nut..

6. Ignition distributor. Mark the drive shaft tang for correct

installation during subsequent installation of the distributor..

Installation

PROCEDURE.

1. Ignition distributor. Turn the drive shaft tang to align with the mark..

2. Distributor clamp bolt..

3. Distributor shaft nut..

4. Terminals of the ignition coil and electronic spark advance controller leads.

5. Connect the high-voltage leads and the ignition coil lead to the distributor cap.
