Adding Washer Fluid

The windshield washer fluid reservoir is located at the front of the engine compartment. Remember to check the fluid level regularly. Fill the windshield washer reservoir with windshield washer solvent (not radiator antifreeze) and operate the system for several seconds to flush out any remaining water.

When filling the washer fluid reservoir, apply a small amount of washer fluid to a cloth or towel and clean the wiper blades. This will help wiper blade performance.

To prevent the windshield washer system from freezing in cold weather, select a solution or mixture that matches or exceeds the temperature range of your climate. This information can be found on most washer fluid containers.

The reservoir holds almost 1 gallon (4 liters) of washer fluid when the "Low Washer Fluid" message appears in the instrument cluster.
