FUEL REQUIREMENTS

When operating on gasoline with the required octane rating, a slight engine knock is not cause for concern. However, if a heavy knock is heard, contact your dealer immediately. Using gasoline with an octane rating lower than recommended may result in engine failure and is not covered by the New Vehicle Limited Warranty.

Poor-quality gasoline may cause problems such as hard starting, engine stalling, and hesitation. If you experience these symptoms, try a different brand of gasoline before taking the vehicle for service.
