WHEEL AND TIRE TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
Proper tightening torque of the lug nuts/bolts is very important for correct wheel installation on the vehicle. Each time a wheel has been removed and reinstalled on the vehicle, the lug nuts/bolts must be tightened to the correct torque using a properly calibrated torque wrench with a six-point (hexagonal) deep socket.
TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

**Use only bolts and nuts recommended by an authorized dealer, and clean or remove dirt or oil before tightening.
Inspect the wheel mounting surface before installing the tire and remove all corrosion or loose particles.

Tighten the lug nuts/bolts in a star pattern until each nut/bolt has been tightened twice. Make sure the socket is fully engaged with the nut/bolt (do not insert it halfway).
NOTE:
If you are unsure of the tightening torque, have it checked with a torque wrench by an authorized dealer or service station.
After 25 miles (40 km), check the torque of the bolts and nuts to make sure all bolts/nuts are properly tightened.
