Windshield Wiper Operation

~1min read

Turn the end of the multifunction lever to the first detent past the intermittent setting to operate the wipers at low speed, or to the second stop past the intermittent setting for high-speed wiper operation.

Intermittent Wipers

Use one of the four intermittent wiper settings when weather conditions permit. At vehicle speeds above 16 km/h, the delay can be adjusted from a maximum of approximately 36 seconds between cycles (first detent) to a cycle every second (fourth detent). If the vehicle is traveling at less than 10 mph (16 km/h), the delay time is doubled.

Windshield Washers

To use the washer, pull the end of the lever (toward the steering wheel) and hold it. If the lever is pushed while in intermittent mode, the wipers turn on and operate for several cycles after the lever end is released, and then resume the previously selected intermittent interval.

If the end of the lever is pulled when the wipers are off, the wipers will operate for several cycles and then turn off.

Mist

Turn the end of the lever down to the MIST position and release it for one cleaning cycle.

NOTE:

The mist function does not activate the washer pump; therefore, no washer fluid will be sprayed onto the windshield. To spray washer fluid, use the washer function.
