Fluids and lubricants

For correct operation of diesel engines with DPF, use only original lubricant. If the original product is not available, in an emergency a top-up of maximum 0.5 l may be carried out. As soon as possible, visit the nearest Fiat service network.

When using non-original products, SAE 5W-40, you may use lubricants that meet a minimum performance level of ACEA B4 for diesel engines. In this case, however, the best engine performance cannot be guaranteed.

Use of products with lower properties than ACEA C3 and ACEA B4 may cause engine damage that is not covered by the warranty.

In particularly severe climatic conditions, ask your Fiat service network for a suitable product from the Selenia range.

climatic conditions we recommend a mixture of 60% Paraflu UP and 40% demineralised water.
