Rims and tyres

Pressed steel or light alloy rims.

Tubeless radial tyres.

All approved tyres are also listed in the vehicle registration document.

Note: in case of any discrepancy between the "Owner's Manual" and the "Vehicle Registration Document", the information in the latter document shall prevail.

For safety, it is essential that the vehicle is fitted with tyres of the same type and make on all four wheels.

Note: inner tubes must not be fitted in tubeless tyres.

Spare wheel

Pressed steel wheel. Tubeless tyre.

Wheelbase

Front wheel toe-in, measured between the rims: -1 ±1 mm.

The values refer to the vehicle in running order.

Example: 195/65 R 15 91T

195 = nominal width (S, distance in mm between the sidewalls).

65 = aspect ratio height/width (H/S) in percent.

R = radial tyre.

15 = rim diameter in inches (Ø).

91 = load index (load capacity).

T = speed symbol.

() For versions with 195/65 R15 and 205/55 R16 tyres, a tyre with the same dimensions can be ordered instead of the small spare wheel.

(*) Tyres that are not suitable for snow chains.

(**) The 205/55 R16 91H tyre has the same features as the spare wheel: the texts and notes in the section "Tyre changing" therefore refer to the 205/55 R16 91H tyre.

Note: fitting the 225/40 R18 92V tyre requires special technical solutions. For this reason, this tyre can only be ordered when the vehicle is purchased. Do NOT fit this tyre after the vehicle has been purchased!

Cold tyre inflation pressure (bar)
Fülldruck bei kaltem reifen

With warm tyres, the inflation pressure must be 0.3 bar above the specified value. However, the correct value must be checked again when the tyres are cold.

For winter tyres, the inflation pressure must be 0.2 bar above the value specified for standard tyres.

When driving at speeds above 160 km/h, inflate the tyres to the pressure intended for full load conditions.

The TPMS system is not designed for the 195/65 R15 91H tyre.
