Activation

1. 1
   Remove the liftgate latch access cover from the center of the liftgate trim panel.
   Use common shop equipment: interior trim remover.

   

2. 2
   Insert a flat-bladed screwdriver through the access cover opening and press the release pin.
   Use common shop equipment: flat-bladed screwdriver.

   

3. 3
   Insert a 3.5 mm flat-bladed screwdriver through the access cover opening, 10 mm deep, into the right side of the slot.
   Use common shop equipment: flat-bladed screwdriver.

   

4. 4
   Insert a 3.5 mm flat-bladed screwdriver through the access cover opening, 5 mm to the left of the slot. Release the liftgate latch and open the liftgate.
   Use common shop equipment: flat-bladed screwdriver.
