Interior trim removal tool

Removal

   Release the clips and move the upper floor console trim panel aside.
   

   1. Lift the front of the upper trim panel to release the clips.

   2. Slide the upper trim panel forward to release the rear retainers.
      Use a general-purpose tool: interior trim removal tool.

   Disconnect the parking brake switch electrical connector.

   Remove the screws and the parking brake switch.
   Torque: 9 lb-in (1 N·m)

   

Installation

   To install, reverse the removal procedure.

   Apply and release the parking brake twice within 5 seconds, pausing with the switch in the NEUTRAL position for approximately 0.5 seconds between each apply and release.
