Bezel Diagnosis. General Procedures

Check

• Inoperative ACM
• Inoperative (blank or does not power up) display unit (non-touchscreen display or touchscreen display)
• Inoperative FCIM or radio control panel
• Inoperative steering wheel switch

   The ignition is on.

   Operate the audio system in AM/FM mode.
   

   For vehicles with SYNC	For vehicles with an in-ACM CD player, simultaneously press and hold the FCIM/radio control panel EJECT button and the SEEK UP button until the bezel enters diagnostic mode. The Walk-Around Test, if supported, starts and the display shows each speaker as it is tested.
   	For vehicles without an in-ACM CD player, simultaneously press and hold the steering wheel SEEK UP and FCIM/radio control panel SEEK UP buttons until the bezel enters diagnostic mode. If supported, the Speaker Bypass Test starts and the display shows each speaker as it is tested.
   For vehicles without SYNC	Simultaneously press and hold the FCIM/radio control panel POWER ON and SEEK DOWN buttons until the faceplate enters diagnostic mode. The Walk-Around Test, if supported, starts and the display shows each speaker as it is tested.

   After the speaker test (all speakers test) is complete, the following information becomes available:
