Interior trim removal tool

Removal

1. 1
   Refer to: Health and Safety Precautions (100-00 General Information, Description and Operation).

   Open the floor console armrest.

   Both sides.
   Release the clips and remove the floor console upper trim panel.
   Use the general equipment: interior trim remover.

   Release the clips, remove the screws and remove the floor console upper trim panel.
   

   • Disconnect the electrical connectors.
     Use general equipment: interior trim removal tool.

   Remove the center console trim panel.
   Use the general equipment: interior trim remover.

   Both sides.
   Release the trim stick, clips start from front to rear. Release the tab at the lower rear corner and remove the floor console side trim panel.
   Use the general equipment: interior trim panel removal tool.

   Release the clips, remove the bolts and remove the floor console upper trim panel.
   

   • Disconnect the electrical connector.
     Use the general equipment: interior trim removal tool.

   Release the clips and remove the lower instrument panel center storage bin.
   

   • Disconnect the electrical connectors.
     Use general equipment: interior trim removal tool.

   

9. 9
   Disconnect the electrical connectors, remove the bolts and the floor console.
   Torque: 55 lb-in (6.2 N·m)

   

Installation

1. 1
   To install, reverse the removal procedure.

   Apply and release the parking brake twice within 5 seconds, pausing with the switch in the NEUTRAL position for approximately 0.5 seconds between each apply and release.
