Interior trim removal tool

Removal

1. 1
   Open the storage compartment cover in the floor console.

   On both sides.
   Disconnect the retainers and remove the upper side trim panels of the floor console.

   Disconnect the retainers and remove the center instrument panel trim panel.

   Remove the screws, disconnect the clips, and remove the floor console upper trim panel.

   Both sides.
   Release the trim stick, clips start from front to rear. Release the tab at the lower rear corner and remove the floor console side trim panel.
   Use the general equipment: interior trim panel removal tool.

   1. Remove the screws.

   2. Disconnect the clips and position the floor console upper bezel to access the parking brake switch.

   3. Disconnect the electrical connector.

   4. Remove the parking brake switch.

   

Installation

   To install, reverse the removal procedure.

   Apply and release the parking brake twice within 5 seconds, pausing with the switch in the NEUTRAL position for approximately 0.5 seconds between each apply and release.
