WARNING

The towing eye has a left-hand thread. Turn it counterclockwise to install it. Make sure the towing eye is tightened fully. Otherwise it could come loose.

Towing Eye Locations

The towing eye is stored in the spare wheel compartment.

The towing eye must always remain in the vehicle.

Front Towing Eye

Remove the cover and fit the towing eye.

Rear Towing Eye

Remove the cover and fit the towing eye.

Note: If your vehicle is equipped with a towing bar, use it instead of the towing eye to tow other vehicles.
