  2. Adjustment control.
  3. Right-hand mirror.

  2. Press B to adjust the position of the mirror.
  3. Press the mirror control again. The indicator light goes out.

Folding exterior mirrors

Push the mirror toward the door window. Make sure the mirror fully engages in its bracket when returning it to its original position.

Power-folding mirrors (if equipped)

Rétroviseurs électriques rabattables (le cas échéant)

To fold both mirrors, start your vehicle (with the ignition in accessory mode or the engine running), then:

  1. Press the corresponding control to fold the mirrors.
  2. Press the control again to unfold them.

Note: once you have pressed the control, you cannot interrupt the mirror movement partway through.

Wait until the mirrors have stopped moving, then press the control again.

Automatic-folding mirrors

Note: automatic-folding mirrors only operate when they are unfolded. If you have folded the mirrors using the power fold control, you must unfold them using the same control in order to use the automatic folding function.

The mirrors fold in automatically when you lock the vehicle. The mirrors unfold when you unlock the vehicle.

Unstable mirror

If your power folding mirrors have been folded manually, they may not operate correctly, even after being repositioned. You must reset them if:

  • they vibrate while driving or are unstable;
  • they do not stay in the folded or unfolded position.

To reset the power folding function:

  1. Use the power folding mirror control to fold and unfold the mirrors.
  2. When one or both mirrors make a loud noise, the mirror reset has been successful. This noise is normal.
  3. Repeat this procedure each time the mirrors are folded manually.

Although power folding mirrors normally operate electronically, you can still fold and unfold them manually. However, after any manual adjustment, the power folding mirrors are no longer synchronized, even if you reposition them.

An unsynchronized mirror may:

  • fail to fold or unfold normally;
  • fail to stay in its preset position;
  • be unstable or vibrate at normal driving speeds.

You can reset the mirrors as follows:

  1. Use the power folding mirror control to fold and unfold the mirrors.
  2. When one or both mirrors make a loud noise, the mirror reset has been successful. This noise is normal.
  3. Repeat this procedure each time the power folding mirrors are folded or unfolded manually.

Reverse Tilt Mirrors

One of your outside mirrors automatically tilts downward when you shift into reverse (R). This feature allows you to view the curb.

To use it, proceed as follows:

  1. Select a mirror using the power mirror control.
  2. When you shift into reverse (R), the mirror tilts automatically.

The outside mirror automatically returns to its original position when:

  • your vehicle speed exceeds 10 km/h;
  • you shift out of reverse (R);
  • you turn off the power mirror control.

The mirror automatically moves to a preset position, but you can change this position as follows:

  1. Switch on the ignition.
  2. Select the mirror to reposition.
  3. Shift into reverse (R), then let the mirror tilt automatically to its preset position.
  4. When the mirror is in the tilted position and stationary, reposition it as desired.
  5. Shift into park (P).
  6. Use the preset control to store the position.
