Hyundai Elantra. Adjusting the side view mirrors

To adjust the outside mirrors:

1. Press the L (driver's side) or R (passenger's side) button (1) to select the outside mirror you want to adjust.

2. Use the mirror adjustment control switch to move the selected mirror up, down, left, or right.

3. After adjusting, set the button to the neutral (center) position to prevent unintentional adjustment.

NOTICE

  • The mirrors stop moving when they reach the maximum adjustment angle, but the motor continues to run as long as the switch is pressed. Do not hold the switch longer than necessary, or the motor may be damaged.
  • Do not attempt to adjust the outside mirrors manually, or the motor may be damaged.

Folding the Outside Rearview Mirrors

To fold the outside mirrors, grasp the mirror housing and fold it toward the rear of the vehicle.
