Inspection

  1. Measure the resistance between the terminals.
  2. If the measured resistance does not meet the specification, replace the blower resistor. (After removing the resistor)

Replacement

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the center airbag panel. (Refer to Body - "Center Airbag Panel")
  3. Remove the passenger side air vent duct (A) after loosening the screw.
  4. Disconnect the connector (A), then remove the blower resistor (B) after loosening the mounting screws.
  5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
