Front Seat Cushion Cover Repair Procedures

Replacement

Wear gloves to avoid cutting your hands.

When removing with a flat-blade screwdriver or removal tool, wrap the tools with protective tape to prevent damage to components. Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove the interior trim parts without damaging the surface. Be careful not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.

   Remove the front seat assembly. (Refer to Front Seat - "Front Seat Assembly")

   Remove the front seat inner shield cover. (Refer to Front Seat - Front Seat Inner Shield Cover)

   Remove the front seat outer shield cover. (Refer to Front Seat - Front Seat Outer Shield Cover)

   Remove the front seat lower shield (A).

   Release the clip and remove the ventilation duct (A).

   Disconnect the front seat motor connectors (A).

   Remove the protector (A) from the front seat cushion frame. [Center]

   Remove the front seat cushion cover (A) from the front seat cushion frame.

   After removing the hook-and-loop fastener (A) and clips with ring clips (B) from inside the front seat cushion cover, remove the seat cushion cover (C).

   Make sure the foam wire does not come off its position.

    To install, reverse the removal procedure.

    Make sure the connectors are fully connected. Replace any damaged clips (or pin-type retainers). To prevent wrinkles, make sure the cover (B) is stretched evenly before connecting the clips (A). Replace the ring clips with new ones using the special service tool (C) (09880-4F000).
