Replacement
  • Wear gloves to avoid cutting your hands.
  • When removing with a flat-blade screwdriver or removal tool, wrap the tools with protective tape to prevent damage to components.
  • Be careful not to scratch the body surface.
  1. Remove the inside rear view mirror cover. (Refer to Body Electrical System - "Electrochromic Inside Rear View Mirror".)
  2. Disconnect the inside rear view mirror connector (A) by pressing the clip.
  3. Loosen the mounting screws and push the ECM mirror base upward to remove the ECM mirror assembly (B).
  4. Install in the reverse order of removal.
    • Be careful not to damage the windshield.
